J is for Jammerbugt

No, Jammerbugt is not some new Danish rock band (be a good name, though). It is the name given to a dune on Mars where the rover Opportunity was recently stuck. This is the second time that this rover has become dune bound, and the Earth side techies were able to recognize the problem and back Opportunity away from the dune without much difficulty. The rover is now continuing towards the crater "Victoria". So far, Opportunity has traveled nearly 5 miles in its 2 plus years of exploration.

Jammerbugt, by the way, takes its name from Denmark's "Bay of Wailing" - famous for wrecking many ships in its treacherous waters.
